We are just a small, family-owned business that focuses on using local resources to provide the best service as possible. We don’t have a sales team – so each customer will work specifically with one of the owners. Our turnkey process offers the most important services needed for a quality, move-in ready home. This includes building the foundation, garages, septic and licenses, added porches, driveways, etc.
David and Kathy Thorne started out as a parts and service business in 1984. They transitioned into mobile home sales and then into the modular market. Their son, Travis, and his wife Amber, are both involved in the business along with David and Kathy.

Checklist for Choosing Your Builder
Ideal Design
Make sure they are building you a house you will be happy with for a lot of years. You should be satisfied with the house design.
Skilled Artisan
Your builder should have skilled and dependable workers at the site throughout the entirety of construction.
Detailed Schedule
A reliable builder will give you a time schedule for when the house will be finished and inform you each step of the way.
Completed Prep Work
They should have the house site properly prepped to avoid issues later on. This includes a well-drained, and properly installed foundation to set the house on.
Permits
They will know of and take care of any necessary permits for you.
Total Costs
They will walk you through ALL the costs to have a completely finished house. We are talking septic (and permits!), utilities, seamless gutters, driveway, heating & cooling, and all finishing work... even the light bulbs! Even questions you didn't know you would have later should be answered at the start.
Follow-Up
They will let you know if any follow-up work is needed and take your call. Avoid any builder that gives you an (1800) number.
